Chakra Series~ Crown Chakra 💜

Function: Connecting to our divine and true self, cosmic energy, and higher states of consciousness.

Colour: Violet

Location: Top of the head

Crystals that help bring balance: Amethyst, clear quartz, apophyllite

Essential Oils that bring balance: Frankincense, lavender, myrrh

Sound Healing: Frequency 963 Hz

Often times when I see clients with unbalanced, sluggish or crowded crown chakras they usually are over thinking, have headaches, feel scattered and disconnected from their intuition and higher self.

When I feel my crown chakra needs some support I will use reiki or crystals, affirmations, Solfeggio frequencies to bring back balance, alignment and allow the chakra to expand and spin naturally.

Chakra Series~ Third Eye Chakra 💙

Function: This chakra is our seat of intuition, clarity and higher states of consciousness.

Colour: Indigo

Location: Between the brows

Crystals that help bring balance: K2, lapis lazuli, sodalite, moonstone

Essential Oils that bring balance: Sandalwood, patchouli, chamomile

Sound Healing: Frequency 852 Hz

Often times when I see clients with unbalanced, sluggish or shut down 3rd eyes, I will usually find uncertainty with life purpose, or next steps and decisions. As well, but not always, there is a lack of trust within self, intuition and with others.

When I feel my 3rd Eye Chakra needing some support, I will focus on my meditation practice as well as connecting with my higher soul self and checking in. Because of the work I do and connecting with my guides and spirit daily, I usually need to take a rest and that brings back balance.

Chakra Series~ Throat Chakra 💙

Function: This chakra resonates with self expression, communication, honoring your truths and bridging community.

Colour: Turquoise

Location: Center of neck

Crystals that help bring balance: Turquoise, blue lace agate, blue topaz

Essential Oils that bring balance: Eucalyptus, peppermint, bergamot

Sound Healing: Frequency 741Hz

The majority of clients I see have small, smushed, unbalanced, or shut down Throat chakras. I will usually find stifled communication, not expressing needs, wants, and ideas. As well, but not always, when ideas, feelings, or emotions were shared they were minimized, down played and set aside. All of these things will create misalignment and close this chakra.

When I feel my Throat chakra needing some support, I will focus on communicating exactly how I feel and want I need and want. Whether that is from a work perspective, relationships or within myself. I will also sing to clear and expand the energy. As well a good Smudging with sage or ethically sourced Palo Santo helps.

Chakra Series~ Heart Chakra 💚

Function: This chakra resonates with unconditional love, compassion and forgiveness.

Colour: Green

Location: Center of the chest

Crystals that help bring balance: Rose quartz, green aventurine, kunzite

Essential Oils that bring balance: Jasmine, ylang-ylang, rose

Sound Healing: Frequency 639 Hz

This chakra becomes depleted and optimal spinning slowed, when giving and receiving is out of balance. When you give and give and do not receive or accept that energy back it taxes this energy center.

Grief, holding back forgiveness and grudges holds space in this area as well. It can often contribute to walls going up, not being able to move forward with healing from heartache.

When I feel my heart chakra needing some support, I will focus on my own self love and care. As well, I will note my energy exchanges, honoring my boundaries and bringing giving and receiving/accepting back into balance.

Chakra Series~ Solar Plexus Chakra 💛

Function: This chakra holds the most universal life energy. It is the seat of emotions, willpower, gut feelings and determination.

Colour: Yellow

Location: Above the naval

Crystals that help bring balance: Citrine, Sunstone, Amber, Yellow topaz

Essential Oils that bring balance: Fennel, lemongrass, cinnamon, juniper

Sound Healing: Frequency 528 Hz

Often times this chakra will hold emotions, traumas and past hurts. Some clients will store this in compartments while others will push it down a deep well within this chakra. These emotions can be stored here for years and even from childhood. This area will/can hold feelings, vows, and even energetic imprints from bullies and abuse. When clients are constantly sluggish, fatigued, not motivated, experience abdominal issues it is usually a clue for me that they are leaking energy from this chakra, compartmentalized, or pushing down and holding things that are overwhelming and not easily processed.

When I feel my solar plexus chakra needing some support, I will get outside into the fresh air and sunshine. I will also focus on journaling my feelings and emotions and getting them out of me and onto the paper.

Function: This chakra is the seat of creativity, sensuality, passion, acceptance of self and others as well as the inner child.

Colour: Orange

Location: Lower abdomen

Crystals that help bring balance: Carnelian, Orange calcite, ruby

Essential Oils that bring balance: Patchouli, rosewood, tangerine

Sound Healing: Frequency 417 Hz

When this chakra is blocked or unbalanced it will usually be a challenge to access the fountain of creativity, passions, or feel motivated. You may also experience abdominal issues.

When I feel my sacral chakra needing support I will turn my attention to creative pursuits like painting, playing piano or writing. I will also focus on doing things that bring me joy, especially things that bring out my inner child.

Chakra Series~ Root Chakra ❤

Function: This chakra is about survival, security, your foundations and grounding.

Colour: Red

Location: Base of the spine

Crystals that help bring balance: Smokey quartz, red jasper, hematite.

Essential Oils that bring balance: Geranium, ylang-ylang, cedar wood

Sound Healing: Frequency 396 Hz

This is one of the very first chakras to develop over the ages of 0-7. This chakra keeps us grounded and anchored as well, is the foundation of feeling secure, safe and stable in our lives. Often times those going through big life transitions, shifts and transformations will have this chakra uprooted. Our ability to adapt and change is what allows this chakra to replant its roots and form a stable foundation again and again. Childhood trauma may also be stored within this chakra.

When I feel my root chakra needing some support, I will get outside into the fresh air to garden, surround myself with trees or into the water to swim.(I am definitely a water sign)I will also focus on doing grounding meditations, refreshing my budgets, or to get a pedicure. The root chakra runs right through our hips, legs and out through the feet where there are minor chakras in each foot that assists the root chakra to ground, and create a stable base with our grounding cord. (More on the grounding cord later.)
